My Journey

Since I was 5 years old, when I started school I always knew I was a bit different compared to all my friends, but it never bothered me. I was very shy and quiet, I couldn't say 'S' words very well, my head always held to the side and my left side felt 'different', and my index finger never fully extended. Other than that I was the same as everyone else, a 5 year old starting school, making new friends and beginning my journey through education. I was accepted. I was told I had Cerebral Palsy by my parents after being referred to various specialists since starting school. I don't really remember it being a big issue.
